Watch as Blossom, a scared dog who never wagged her tail, transforms with the love and patience of her foster dad. This heartwarming journey shows the power of kindness and trust in healing.
T is just terrified. We pull up this bed and there's this little dog. She just had this big loving cartoon eye that just say Help me scoop her up and I put her in a crate and took her home. We just went and sat in the garage and that just violent shaking. Myself and the team and the whole rest of the community came together and we all went and we worked to clear out the entire shelter. Mentality just shut down and for days she just couldn't even function. What I thought would be couple weeks ended up turning into couple more weeks and then months and months on in. Everything was the first for her. She never felt grasp of course when she put a little pause on it. She's just terrified and the sunlight scares her. Everything scared her. If you would look at her or make eye contact she would run. She wasn't a skate bar and she would sometimes hide under the table or sit in the corner for days. The only time she'd come out is when I take her out of the bathroom. Okay, so after we go to the bathroom. Okay, we're going to end and boss and just take a straight there hiding spot. Is that a making her get out of that hiding spot? I just moved the entire table. I just built her a little bedroom. Once that face was built, do we start seeing a lot of first? All right, so we are hand feeding this blossom. Just to kind of build some trust. I'd cook all of her meals because it's the only way I get her to eat and it's the only way I could add enough moisture because she wouldn't bring out of a water bowl. She didn't know how. She saw Zoe drinking and she just went up there and drank water. Just happened. Good girl, boss. Good girl. I'm sorry. I was the first time I've ever seen her drink water. It's been six weeks now. Ah, that feels so good. She's cruising the other whole town. She's like, oh, two dives. I don't even have a clue. Out of nowhere, she jumped up on the couch to sit next to me. Yeah, as you can tell, like, super weird about it as soon as the camera turns on. But you know what? None of it. Stay. Stay. She's up here. Stay. It's okay. Relax. You're a good girl. As other rescue dogs came into the house, she would start to greet them. She was happy to meet him. All of a sudden, she just starts running around and wagging her tail. There's one of the happiest moments of my life and absolutely hurt because here she is almost a three-year-old dog and she wagged her tail for the first time and getting to be a part of that made all of the three-month journey worth it. Look at that. Look at that tail wagon. Blossom. Good girl. Oh, this is amazing.
