Jake was surrendered at 6 months of age. He's now one and a half years old and has been living in this pen ever since. The shelter operators had lost their tender and he along with nine other dogs needed to be adopted quickly. Otherwise with no forever home and no shelter they would be put to sleep. The plan was simple, give him a day at the farm that he'd never forget, then taking back to the shelter and post a video of the day to our social media channels and hopefully help find him a forever home. Really enjoyed hanging out with him, having a day, we've had a good day and we be. He's quite gentle and respectful. Just a really sweet and very responsive really eager to please. He's a guy who's not gonna get me. When picking up another dog on the next day I walked past him and he got so excited to see me. He thought I was coming back for him. I couldn't bear it. Something came over me so I took him as well. At the end of the day on the drive back to the shelter I couldn't bear it. I didn't even get him out of the car. Just sit next to me wasn't it's good enough. There this guy. Hey, look at this guy. So he stayed the night with us. We just wanted to do everything that we could to give him the best possible chance for adoption. Taking him back to the shelter and putting him in that cage just didn't feel like the right option. Good boy. Good boy. Good boy. Wait. Sit and I put some proper training time in with him and he responded so well. Who wouldn't want such a good boy? He's learning pretty quick. Just couple bad habits. You picked up with a pound mate. He'll get some manners. You can't do it well. So just choosing this language to interrupt. If you communicate doing what he's playing with the other dogs, what's okay by what's not. And just reassuring him to order him the whole time. So he's doing really well. The way that they've been allowed to play is a bit any social. And I've been working on Jake. Not some hours. So just a couple of interruptions there and he's just completely ignoring him moving on. Perfect. Exactly what we want to see from Jake at this point. Good boy. Good boy. Good boy. Good boy. Awesome. All the other man's very responsive just from saying no. Thank you, Sceptre. It's very good. First time he's tried that to be able to do a little bit of fasting and it's a pretty good distraction. Mowing. They get that feeling of being left behind. What about me? And they want to come through. That very good. That all like you had to do with saying no. Good boy. Good boy. Good boy. That was a tough one. What's that made? Good boy. Good boy. So you can see that drive to chase there. And it took quite a few more recesses. That first couple. It was just marching. Heading me into that lead really hard. And tell me we just kept repeating repeating until he started just flinching and standing up, which was great. And then keep going again until he's able to sit down and watch it go. So proud to be result. Excellent. There we've got. Yo yo and Jake. Put him the off lead. And go. Walk around the Atlantic together. Pretty good result. Good stuff guys. Yeah. Even drink down the same water. Watch good dogs. Good boy. Good boy. Good boy. Good boy. Good boy. Good boy. Good boy. Good boy. Good boy. Good boy. Good boy. We need to wait. We'll be standing behind for you. I think mate. We've got a couple of passions to do mate. We'll pre-sad a bit of it. But I think it's going to be for the best mate. Thank you. Otherwise I'll take it. I don't know. I don't know. What a good boy. What a good boy. One shot. Oh mate. What a good boy. He's ready to go home. He knows it. He knows it. Look at that. I think for that mate anymore, mate. He's going to go. He's going to go. See you buddy. Good boy mate. Bye. See you later. Bye. See you. See you buddy. Good boy mate. Bye. See you later. Bye. Bye. See you later. What started out as a simple one day out of the farm? Quickly turned into so much more. We couldn't just abandon these dogs and put them back in the shelter. We really wanted to give them the best possible chance to be adopted and it really set us on a new path in direction. Although Jake was only with us for a short time, he really left a lasting impression on us all. And I'm sure that all the dogs that have come through the farm since are all very grateful for that. Thank you.
